Facilities leadership includes the planning, coordination, and continuous improvement of district buildings and grounds. This work supports immediate facility needs, long term planning, operational priorities, and alignment with district goals.

Maintenance staff are supervised and supported to ensure that daily operations, repairs, preventive maintenance, and facility needs are addressed effectively and efficiently. This includes coordinating work assignments, monitoring service quality, encouraging safe work practices, and supporting a productive team environment.

Routine maintenance, repairs, and facility upkeep are managed throughout the district to keep buildings functional, safe, clean, and ready to support teaching, learning, athletics, activities, and daily operations.

District grounds, outdoor areas, walkways, playgrounds, parking areas, athletic spaces, and exterior building needs are maintained to support safe, attractive, and accessible school environments for students, staff, families, and visitors.

Contracted services for maintenance, repairs, inspections, facility improvements, custodial support, grounds work, and specialized building systems are coordinated to ensure quality work, timely completion, and responsible use of district resources. This includes working closely with vendors and service providers to support district facility needs.

Preventive maintenance practices help extend the life of district facilities, equipment, and building systems. By monitoring facility needs, addressing issues proactively, and reducing disruptions to school operations, the Facilities Department supports safe, reliable, and efficient learning environments.
