District safety and security procedures are planned, developed, implemented, and reviewed on an ongoing basis to support safe and prepared schools. This includes districtwide safety planning, emergency operations procedures, crisis response protocols, and alignment with applicable policies, school safety expectations, and legal requirements.

Emergency procedures are developed and implemented to guide students, staff, and school leaders before, during, and after an emergency. Planning includes prevention, protection, mitigation, response, and recovery so that schools are prepared to respond effectively to a range of safety related situations.

Security audits, safety assessments, and facility reviews are conducted to identify strengths, needs, and opportunities for improvement. These efforts support informed decision making, strengthen safety procedures, and promote secure, responsive school environments.
