Diamond Lake School District 76 Little Diamonds Early Learning Program is a multi-aged preschool program that provides educational experiences for young children ages three to five years old who are residents of District 76 and identified as at-risk through a screening process.
All students have an opportunity to play and learn together in an accepting and engaging environment using a developmentally-appropriate approach to instruction that emphasizes the process of learning through active, hands-on experiences. The program provides high quality enrichment experiences for our students.
Preschool Screenings
A child may participate in a preschool screening at Diamond Lake School if they will be turning 3 by the time that they would be enrolled in the program, if they qualify and they live within the Diamond Lake School District 76 boundaries.

On the day of the screening, please bring the following documentation:
Child’s birth certificate
Photo identification of parent/guardian (driver’s license, state-issued ID, Passport)
Proof of occupancy of residence in District 76 (lease agreement, mortgage coupon, bill of sale for residence, property tax bill)
Current bill will parent/guardian name and address (gas, electric, water, telephone)
Proof of income (Pay stubs, tax returns, W-2s, verification letter from employer)
If you receive benefits such as WIC, SNAP, TANF, SSI, Medicaid, proof of these can be used instead of income documentation
