District 76 uses School Messenger providing mass communication services including email, phone, and text blast with our staff and families. Additionally, you can download the School Messenger app for your phone to access every D76 communication as well as Teacher Chat.

 

Students from Kindergarten through 8th grade use a common learning management system for the purpose of classroom communication and online instruction. Asynchronous and synchronous directions and instruction are provided through this platform.

We want to empower our families by connecting them to important information about their child and their learning. District 76 uses a secure, web-based system called PowerSchool which parents/guardians can access through its Parent Portal. This system contains real-time access to student information provided at the time of registration and also has student schedules, attendance information, student grades and assignments, health information and more!

For District 76 bus routes, Lakeside transportation will be using a new app called Traversa Ride 360. Parents and students can access their bus stop location, route, and pick up time on the Ride 360 mobile app. The app uses GPS geolocation to show bus arrivals each day, drastically reducing support calls.When signing up for Ride 360 families.
