Dear Friends and Families of West Oak Middle School:
The end of the first half of the year has finally arrived! Our students have overcome incredible obstacles and found great success during remote learning. We could not be prouder of our students and their hard work. Please note that the West Oak Middle School Office will be closed from December 21st through January 1st. Return to School Updates: Families received an important communication yesterday from Dr. Sharma-Lewis regarding the return to school. Instead of recapping the letter, it is best to refer everyone back to it. Families should check their email to read her communication or click here for the letter. Each of the schools will share specific plans for our own buildings in January. Please reach out to Mr. Cunningham or Mr. Pedersen with any questions.
Parent Engagement Survey: In efforts to ensure District 76 is creating an engaging environment where our parents and community feel well informed, welcomed, and able to participate, we would like your feedback. Please click here to take our Parent Engagement Survey.
Vaccine Sign-Up: Lake County has released Lake County Vaccine Sign-up Information for those looking for information and timelines. Please visit the link for more information. Additionally, there will be a town-hall through lake county on Wednesday, January 13th at 7:00pm. You can sign-up here.
Yearbook Club Needs Your Help!: We are looking for pictures of WOMS students participating in Distance Learning, theme days, or anything else you think could be useful for the yearbook! Please share them by visiting www.hjeshare.com and entering the code D76-2021. We thank you so much!
