D76 Family Communication Update

Dear Families,

 

DISTANCE LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES TO SUPPORT CONTINUOUS LEARNING

Distance Learning Opportunities (DLO) are available on our website at the following link. You/your child should click on the link to access learning opportunities for your child’s appropriate grade level.  These activities have been created by each classroom/department teacher to maintain learning virtually during the mandated school closures.  If you/your child have any questions related to the DLO, please email your child’s teacher and/or principal. All email addresses are available on each school website.  

 

60 DAYS COMPLIMENTARY INTERNET 

If you are in need of internet services, Comcast is providing 60 free days of “free” internet essentials for any new customers. Click here to apply for Internet Essentials.

If you/your child have technology related questions/issues during the DLO, please reach out via email address/phone number below: 

 

FOOD DISTRIBUTION 

We have a food distribution plan for our students that will begin Wednesday, March 18. We will provide free meals for ALL D76 students. Below are the details:

  • All Families

    • Food will be available for curbside pickup (drive-up or walk-up) at West Oak Campus, 26156 N. Acorn Lane, in front of door #9.  Pick up time is between 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm

    • Food pickup will be available ONLY on the following days:

      • Wednesday, March 18th

      • Thursday, March 19th

      • Friday, March 20th

      • Tuesday, March 24th

      • Thursday, March 26th

      • Monday, March 30th (pick up 2 meals. 1 for Monday AND Tuesday)

    • IMPORTANT - Please fill out the Food Service Survey so D76 can plan its meal counts accordingly.

 

FEEDBACK/QUESTIONS

During the mandated school/district closures, all D76 Schools and the District Office will be closed Wednesday, 3.18.20 through Monday, 3.30.2020.  If you have any feedback/questions please use Feedback Form and someone will respond to you within 24 hours.
