End of Year Family Letter

Dear Diamond Lake Families,

It is hard to believe we are at the end of the 2019-2020 school year.  What a year it has been!  None of us could have foreseen that we would be ending the year virtually instead of waving our buses goodbye.  As our year comes to a close, there are a few details and reminders  that I would like to share:

Picking up student belongings

Families can choose which date is most convenient

  • Staff will greet cars in front of building to check your family in.

If you have other children attending either West Oak Intermediate or West Oak Middle Schools, please review the letter from the principal to learn the details pertaining to that specific building.

Thank you so much for your continuous support throughout the school year and especially at this unusual time in history.  When we left school in March we didn’t know how important it would be for all of us to truly partner as educators.  As our teachers jumped into virtual teaching, our parents rose to the challenge of becoming virtual teaching partners.  The dedication that our community has shown has been impressive as well as humbling.

Our staff at Diamond Lake School with all of District 76 are committed to the well-being of our families and community members.  If you have any type of need, now or throughout the summer, please contact us:

Although we are not at school, we are still with each family we serve. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any need that you have.  We will do our very best to assist you.
