May 10, 2019: Fairhaven School Weekly Update

May 10, 2019

Hello Fairhaven Families,

We only have 14 days left of school!  I’m sure we can all agree that the school year has flown by.  As we get ready to spend our final days at Fairhaven, the students will have special days and events that will create lasting memories.

Next Friday, 5.17.19, we will have an early release day, and the students will be dismissed at 11:00 AM.  During our morning together, Wings and Talons will be bringing some feathered friends that will teach us about birds of prey that can be found in our community.

On May 29th (rain date May 30th) we will be having our Field Day.  If parents would like to be a part of Field Day, please use this form to sign up in advance to volunteer to assist with the activities:   Parent Volunteer Sign Up.  Adults that have not signed up in advance will not be able to join the day, and younger siblings are not able to attend.

May 31st is our very last day of school.  In the morning the students will enjoy being entertained by “Miss Jamie on the Farm,” who will sing and play guitars.  The students will be able to sing along! After that, all classrooms will have a pizza picnic. Pizza is provided by Fairhaven so it is not necessary to send a lunch that day.  Parents do not participate the last day, it is just for the kids.

If you have any questions about any of our end of the year events, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Have a great weekend,

Dr. Fredericks

Dr. Fredericks
