We are excited to announce that West Oak Middle School has received a grant from the Chef Ann’s Foundation for this school year. The purpose of this grant is to expose students to fruits and vegetables within their day and to demonstrate the versatility and overall yumminess of the fruits and veggies they will be tasting.
In order to achieve this goal, we will be setting up a Chef’s Tasting Table one or two times a month, depending on the month, during lunch periods. We will be providing different fruits and vegetables, sliced and on their own or prepared within a dish by a chef, for the students to try.
A list of the dates of these tastings and a link to the recipes for the dishes will be available on the District 76 website, under the West Oak Middle School tab.

Estamos muy contentos de anunciar que West Oak Middle School ha recibido una subvención de la Fundación Chef Ann para este año escolar. El propósito de esta subvención es exponer a los estudiantes a las frutas y verduras en su día y demostrar la versatilidad y ricura de las frutas y verduras que van a probar.
