Dear Friends and Families of West Oak Middle School:
We have finally arrived at the end! Thank you for everything you have done to support your students on their 20-21 academic journey. And congratulations again to the Class of 2021! We held two wonderful ceremonies on Wednesday in our gym, and we could not be prouder of our 8th grade students. All report cards and STAR Test scores will be sent home electronically today. We encourage families to reference our WOMS At-A-Glance Website for updates and information.

Office Hours: Please see below for the summer office hours for WOMS and the District Office.
6.7-6.14: Students Open Monday-Friday 8am-3pm
6.15-7.14: All School Buildings are closed

7.15: All School Buildings reopen Monday-Friday 8am-3pm
Summer School: Summer school students will be using the yellow bus lanyards for self certification in order to board the bus to summer school. If your child is attending summer school and riding the bus, please keep your child's yellow bus lanyard and have it worn each morning of summer school. If you need to have your child's lanyard replaced, please contact the summer school office at [email protected].
Chromebooks: All Chromebooks need to be turned-in to the office by the end of the day on June 11th. Students participating in our Summer School will be keeping their Chromebooks.
Next Year Supplies: Once again the PTO has provided a way for families to order their school supplies for their upcoming year. Supplies must be ordered by June 11th, and they will be delivered to the building. Please click on the flyer in English or Spanish for more information.
Race Against Gun Violence: The MHS Black Student Union and the Mundelein My Brother’s Keeper Community are hosting the second annual Race Against Gun Violence 5K on June 13th. Please see the press-release for information on how to sign-up.
Washington D.C. Trip: We are pleased to offer a Washington D.C. Trip in 2022 for our current 6th and 7th grade students! Please view this flyer for more information.
Families In Need: We have a number of opportunities coming up for families in need of food to participate in our mobile food pantry. Please see this flyer for all upcoming events.

Escuela de verano: Los estudiantes de la escuela de verano usarán los cordones amarillos del autobús para la autocertificación a fin de abordar el autobús a la escuela de verano. Si su hijo asiste a la escuela de verano y viaja en el autobús, conserve el cordón amarillo del autobús de su hijo y llévelo cada mañana durante la escuela de verano.
