Dear Friends and Families of West Oak Middle School:
We had another exciting week with our fall athletics! And we are equally excited to share that next week is our first Spirit Week! Click on this flyer to find out the theme for each day. Families should be receiving the fall STAR Reading and Math scores for the student sometime today via email. Please see below for important information.
Clubs and Tutorial: Our clubs and Tutorial will be beginning in October. Next week’s parent communication will have detailed information about different clubs with meeting dates and sponsors.
Tutorial will be offered Monday-Thursday from 3:30 to 4:30pm. This time is an opportunity to complete schoolwork with the support of a teacher, and some students will be invited to work on literacy and math skills. Tutorial will begin on October 4th. A late bus is provided for students attending Tutorial.
Lake County Technology Campus: The Lake County Technology Campus is hosting a few career nights for interested 8th grade students and their families. Families can register using any of the links below:

Morning Drop-Off: Families, we ask that if you arrive early and are waiting with your student until they can enter the building, that you wait in the carpool lane and not in a parking spot. Thank you!
Mundelein High School Opportunities: Mundelein High School will be hosting a parent workshop that is open to the community. It will be held September 28th from 7:00-8:30 in the MHS Auditorium. Please see the flyers in English and Spanish for more information.

Tuvimos otra semana emocionante con nuestros deportes de otoño! ¡Y estamos igualmente emocionados de compartir que la próxima semana es nuestra primera Semana del Espíritu! Haga clic en este folleto para conocer el tema de cada día. Las familias deberían recibir los puntajes de lectura y matemáticas STAR de otoño para el estudiante en algún momento de hoy por correo electrónico.
