Families of West Oak Intermediate School,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to inform you that one of our esteemed teachers, Mr. Griffin Hill, is taking a temporary leave of absence from that started on Friday, 2.2.24. During this time, he will be attending to personal matters that require his attention.
We understand that the continuity of your child's education is of the utmost importance, and I want to assure you that we have taken appropriate measures to ensure that learning will not suffer during Mr. Hill's absence.
Here's what you can expect:
- Qualified Replacement: We have arranged for a qualified substitute teacher to step in during Mr. Hill's absence. Barb Ciosek, will be filling in during Mr. Hill's absence and has worked with our students for a long time. She has great relationships with all of our students.
- Lesson Continuity: The curriculum will continue as planned, with minimal disruption.
- Supportive Environment: Our school staff and I will be readily available to provide any additional support or assistance your child may require during this time. Our teachers are collaborative, and are willing to offer any support along the way.
I understand that change can sometimes be unsettling, especially when it comes to your child's education. Rest assured, I am committed to maintaining a supportive and enriching learning environment for all our students, even during periods of transition.
