Dear Diamond Lake Families,
We are so excited to be welcoming many of our students into our Diamond Lake School Building! I have spent a great deal of time talking with families this week and I have appreciated each and every conversation. I wanted to share a brief list of common questions that many of our parents have been asking: Questions about In Person Learning. If you don’t see your questions on this list, please let me know and I will keep updating the list. If you have something on your mind, chances are that other parents do as well.
I have shared information about our goal to change our building’s schedule on February 1st in order to prepare students for changes that will take place on February 8th, when some students return to In Person Learning. After discussing it further, our staff has decided that it would be best for students if the new schedule was implemented for everyone on February 8th. The staff felt that it would be more challenging for students to begin a schedule on February 1st and then have it adjust on February 8th. The teachers thought it would simply be better if whatever is changing takes place on the 8th, all at once, so that students don’t have to make adjustments. Don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

Estimados padres de Diamond Lake,
¡Estamos muy emocionados de dar la bienvenida a muchos de nuestros estudiantes a nuestro edificio de Diamond Lake! He pasado mucho tiempo hablando con las familias esta semana y he apreciado todas y cada una de las conversaciones. Quería compartir una breve lista de preguntas comunes que muchos de nuestros padres tienen: Preguntas sobre el regreso a la escuela.Si no encuentra una de sus preguntas en la lista, por favor dejame saber y seguire actualizando la lista. Si tiene algo en su mente, lo más probable es que otros padres también.
He compartido información de nuestras metas para cambiar el horario de la escuela el 1 de febrero en orden para prepararnos para los cambios que tomaran el 8 de febrero, cuando algunos estudiantes regresan en persona. Después de discutir más a fondo, nuestro personal decidió que sería mejor para los estudiantes si el nuevo horario se implementará para todos el 8 de febrero. El personal sintió que sería más difícil para los estudiantes empezar el nuevo horario el 1 de febrero y luego cambiar a otro horario el 8 de febrero. Las maestras pensaron que sería mejor que todo lo que cambiará, empiece el 8 de febrero, para que los estudiantes no tengan que hacer ajustes nuevos. No tenga duda en contactarme si tiene algunas preguntas o preocupaciones.
