D76 is committed to reducing the spread of germs and bacteria in our buildings. As a result, our lunch program will be implementing several changes to the food handling process effective immediately.
- Discontinuing the self-serve fruit and vegetable bar
- D76 will be adding a hot fruit and vegetable option for every lunch as a substitute
- Fruits will be self-contained whenever possible (i.e. apple slices in pre-sealed bag)
- Condiments will be served out of packets and handed out by staff members at West Oak Campus
- Squeeze bottled condiments will continue to be used at Diamond Lake but dispensed by staff members
We will continue to provide hand sanitizer for students entering the lunch lines and taking all appropriate precautions.
