At the October 17th School Board Meeting at Diamond Lake School District 76 we recognized active members of the Catalyst Club, a student club focusing on empowering children to make a change in their communities.
The following members were in attendance to receive the recognition: Jordyn Ackerman, Emma, Epstein, Caroline Hail, and Jonah Pomorantz. Mr. Willeford, West Oak Middle School Principal presenting the Community Coalition plaque stating the inscription: Community Coalition stand strong, keeping our youth drug and alcohol free under the Catalyst Club at West Oak Middle School for the efforts of the passing of the Tobacco 21 municipal ordinance in Buffalo Grove.
