Diamond Lake District 76

Winners of the Logo Contest!

We are very excited and pleased to announce the winners for the District 76 Logo Contest.  These students submitted amazing artwork that represented the District's new vision statement and also what school and District 76 mean to them in their creative artwork.

Over 70 students submitted entries either as individuals, partners or classrooms.  From all of these designs, three were selected by the judges as the top choices and then all of the District 76 students voted from the top three for their favorite one.  While it was very close  and two logos came out as a tie for everyone's favorite, we decided to combine their work into one District logo.

Congratulations to our two winners Madelyn Wayne, 4th grader at Diamond Lake and Leia Zarinebaf, 7th grader at West Oak Middle School.

These two outstanding artists will be recognized at the October 20th Board of Education Meeting and the new combined logo will also be displayed that night.   We are very proud of all of the students who participated in this important contest and thank everyone for the time they took to be creative.

We look forward to sharing the final logo with everyone very soon and also recognizing Madelyn and Leia for their GREAT effort, creativity and hard work.
