Diamond Lake School Updates for 6/2/2017
Thank you for a wonderful school year! Summer is here to provide a time for families to spend time together having fun, relaxing, and getting ready for the new school year. I wish all of you a very safe, happy, and fun summer break.
Thank You to our Volunteers!!
The Diamond Lake School staff would like to thank all of you who have volunteered your time over the school year. Whether it was helping out during holiday parties, working with staff on projects, visiting classrooms, working the book fairs, or helping to make Field Day yesterday a giant success, we aren’t successful without you. Thank you so much for a wonderful year.
Summer Office Hours
The Diamond Lake School main office will be open from 8:00am-2:00pm, Monday through Thursday beginning Monday, June 12th through Thursday, July 27th. Regular office hours will resume on Monday, July 31st.
Lost and Found Items
We still have several items in our lost and found. We will have tables set up during office hours over the next two weeks to look over the items. After June 15th, remaining items will be donated.
Save the Date
Our traditional “Meet and Greet” will be a little different as we begin the school year next year. Our “Meet and Greet” will be in all buildings from 4:00-7:00 PM on Tuesday, August 15th. This special time will allow our families to meet the teachers, drop off school supplies, and receive information about the curriculum. We are truly looking forward to seeing you!
School Supplies
Our students will return to school on Wednesday, August 16th. If you were not able purchase school supplies through the PTO, Office Max will give our school 5% back for purchasing supplies at their store. Office Max will have our school supply lists and someone will even assist you with shopping!
Important Dates:
Wednesday, July 5th, buildings will begin taking residency materials
Tuesday, August 1st, D76 residency fair for ALL students, West Oak School, 7:00-9:00 AM
Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 2nd & 3rd, residency fair for ALL students, WO, 4:00-8:00 PM
Tuesday, August 15th, Meet and Greet at ALL SCHOOLS, 4:00-7:00 PM
Wednesday, August 16th, first full day back for students

Please register your child for next school year. If you need assistance, or online access, we have computers for you to use in the main office.

Gracias por un maravilloso año escolar! El verano llegó para brindarles tiempo con sus familias y tener diversión, relajarse, y empezar a alistarse para el próximo ciclo escolar. Les deseo un cauteloso y feliz vacaciones de verano.
Gracias a Nuestros Voluntarios!
El personal de la Escuela de Diamond Lake les agradece a todos los que donaron de su tiempo durante el ciclo escolar. En ayudar durante las fiestas festivas, trabajando con nuestro personal en proyectos, visitando las aulas, trabajando en las ferias del libro, o ayudar ayer en que el Dia de Campo fuera un éxito, no podríamos ser exitosos sin ustedes. Horas de Oficina en Verano
La oficina de la Escuela de Diamond Lake estará abierta de 8:00am-2:00pm, de Lunes a Jueves empezando el 12 de Junio al Jueves 28 de Julio. Las horas regulares resumirá el Lunes, Julio 31.
Artículos Perdidos
Todavía tenemos artículos perdidos. En la próximas dos semanas tendremos una mesa durante las horas de oficina para que pueda venir a buscar si tiene artículos perdidos. Después del 15 de Junio, los artículos restantes serán donados.

Nuestro “Conocer y Saludar” será distinto para el próximo ciclo escolar. Our traditional “Meet and Greet” will be a little different as we begin the school year next year. Nuestro “Conocer y Saludar” será en las escuelas de 4:00-7:00 PM el Martes, 15 de Agosto. Este especial tiempo nos permitirá a nuestras familias a conocer a nuestros maestros, y dejar los útiles escolares, y recibir información sobre el plan de estudios. Esperamos verlos!
Utiles Escolares
Nuestros alumnos regresarán a clases el Miércoles, 16 de Agosto. Si no tuvo la oportunidad de comprar los útiles por medio del PTO, Office Max dará a la escuela el 5% si compra los útiles en su tienda. Office Max tendra nuestra lista de útiles y tendrá asistencia para la compra!

Por favor de registrar su hijo para el próximo año escolar. Si necesita asistencia, o acceso al internet, tenemos computadoras que puede usar en nuestra oficina. La oficina estará disponible hasta las 5:00 pm el Lunes, Miércoles y Jueves para ayudarles si lo necesita.
