Diamond Lake District 76

Referendum Update: April 7, 2017

District 76 had the referendum question, "Proposition To Issue $11,400,000 School Building Bonds"  on the ballot for the April 4, 2017 Election.

Current election results indicate that the referendum passed. This means that the district will be able to utilize funding from bonds to improve all 3 schools. These projects will focus on safety and security while continuing to prioritize teaching and learning. A detailed project plan with timeline will be discussed and available in the upcoming months. Some projects will start as early as this summer and some projects will span over a period of 2-4 years.

On behalf of the Board of Education, we are grateful to the community and staff who supported the efforts to improve our schools. The Board of Education and District Leadership Team will continue to work together and look forward to sharing the facility improvement plans and projects with the community in the very near future.
