Hello Fairhaven Families,


Fairhaven is the first school experience for many of our students and District 76 is committed to encouraging all of our students to have a positive attitude towards school.  Parents can help to instil a positive attitude by hearing them say good things about school and the teachers by saying things like “Mrs. Smith always has such fun things for you to do”  or “learning is so fun!” Attending special events with your child also helps to encourage happy thoughts about school.  A huge “thank you” to all of the families that attended our family night earlier in the week; family night was a huge success!  We realize that heading out during cold winter evenings may be challenging and we truly appreciated seeing about 200 members of the community playing, talking, and sharing the evening together. Nice job Fairhaven families!

Hola Familias de Fairhaven,


Fairhaven es la primera experiencia escolar para muchos de nuestros estudiantes y el Distrito 76 esta comprometido a alentar a todos nuestros estudiantes a tener una actitud positiva hacia la escuela. Los padres pueden ayudar a inculcar una actitud positiva al oirlos decir cosas buenas sobre la escuela y los maestros diciendo cosas como “la Señora Smith siempre tiene cosas divertidas para que hagas” o “aprender es tan divertido! Ser parte de los eventos especiales con su hijo también ayuda a alentar pensamientos felices acerca de la escuela. Un enorme “gracias” a todas las familias que asistieron a nuestra Noche Familiar a principios de semana, la Noche Familiar fue un gran éxito! Nos damos cuenta de que salir durante las tardes frías de invierno puede ser un reto y realmente apreciamos ver alrededor de 200 miembros de la comunidad jugando y compartiendo la noche juntos. Buen trabajo familias de Fairhaven!
