Happy Hanukkah!!
Winter Break Schedule
The last day of school before Winter Break will be Thursday, December 21st. This will be a full day of school. There is no school on Friday, December 22nd. School will resume on Monday, January 8th and will also be a full day of school.
Winter Break Office Hours are:
Monday (12.25 and 1.1) and Tuesday (12.26 and 1.2) - closed in recognition of the Christmas and New Year Holidays
12/27, 28, 29; Jan 3,4,5 - Office Hours are 8AM to 2PM
Winter Holiday Party
Diamond Lake School will host its annual student holiday party on Thursday, December 21st. Students will rotate through 3 activities with their grade level from 1:30-2:30pm. If you are interested in volunteering to help with this event, please view this link.
The Snow has Arrived!
Now that the snow is falling, and sticking, the students will want to play in it. In order for students to play in snow, the need to wear ALL of the following: Coat, hat, gloves, snow pants, and boots. If students have all of these items on at recess, they will be allowed to play in the snow. Students are invited to build, and play, but throwing of any snow is not permitted.

Nut Allergy Restriction Reminder
Please remember that nuts and products made with nuts are not allowed at Diamond Lake School. We have been seeing some halloween candy containing nuts make its way in with lunches. Please make sure that these food items are not sent in with your child.

Come join the fun at the Y! Pizza will be served for dinner. Take part in many activities like open climb on the rock wall & swimming in the pool! Feliz Hanukkah!!
Programa de las vacaciones de Invierno
El ultimo dia de clases antes de las vacaciones de invierno es el Jueves, Diciembre 21. Y sera un dia completo de la escuela. No hay clases el Viernes, Diciembre 22. La escuela va a reasumir el Lunes, Enero 8 y tambien sera un dia completo de la escuela.
Horario de oficina para las vacaciones de invierno
Lunes (12.25 y 1.1) y Jueves (12.26-1.2) - Cerrado en reconocimiento de la celebration de Navidad y Año nuevo 12/27,28 29; Jan. 3,4,5 - horario de la oficina será de 8AM a 2PM
Fiesta de Invierno
La Escuela Diamond Lake tendrá su fiesta anual para los estudiantes el Jueves, Diciembre 21. Los estudiantes darán rotaciones en 3 actividades con su nivel de grado de las 1:30-2:30pm. Si usted está interesado en ser un voluntario y ayudar con este evento, favor de ver este enlace.
La Nieve ya luego!
Ahora que la nieve empezó a caer, y se esta quedando, los estudiantes van a querer jugar en ella. En orden de que los estudiantes puedan jugar en la nieve, ellos necesitan todo lo siguente: chamarra, gorra, guantes, pantalones para la nieve, y botas. Si los estudiantes tienen todos de estos artículos en recreo, se les permitirá jugar en la nieve. Los estudiantes están invitados a construir, jugar, pero aventar nieve no esta permitido.

Por favor acuerdense que nueces y productos que contengan nueces no son permitidas en la Escuela Diamond Lake. Hemos estado encontrando dulces de halloween que contienen nueces en los almuerzos de los niños. Por favor asegurense de que estos productos no sean enviados con sus hijos.
